What is a credit?
A credit is the unit CiteRanger bills in. Scanning one article (one URL) for outdated statistics, dead or drifted sources and changed facts uses one credit. Re-scanning the same article later uses another credit, because the check runs again against current sources.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly credits reset at the start of each billing period. The 15 free credits do not expire; use them whenever you like.
What does the free plan include?
Every feature of the product with 15 credits: AI scan, source validation, the full report with corrected values and sources, CSV and PDF export, email alerts and projects. No credit card required.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with the new credit volume; downgrades apply from the next billing period.
How do I cancel?
From your account settings, with one click. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, and you keep access to your reports.
Is there an agency plan?
Agencies and publishers with more than 1,000 articles a month get a custom credit volume and multi-client project setup. Contact us with your URL count.
