Everything you need to know about CiteRanger. Can't find what you're looking for? Contact us.
CiteRanger works with any publicly accessible web page. This includes blog posts, articles, product pages, landing pages, and documentation. The content just needs to be accessible via a URL.
Our AI extracts factual claims from your content – statistics, prices, dates, company information, etc. – and cross-references them against up-to-date authoritative sources like official websites, recent publications, and verified databases.
One credit equals one article scan. When you submit a URL, CiteRanger analyzes the entire page and returns a comprehensive report. There's no limit on article length – whether it's 500 or 5,000 words, it's one credit.
CiteRanger provides high-confidence results by only flagging claims where we can verify current information from authoritative sources. We always include the source link so you can verify independently. When we're uncertain, we indicate that in the report.
Yes! You can import a sitemap or upload a CSV file with multiple URLs. This is especially useful for auditing an entire blog or content library. Each URL counts as one credit.
You get 15 free article scans with full access to all features – no credit card required. This lets you test CiteRanger on your actual content before committing to a paid plan.

If we can't find authoritative sources to verify a claim, we'll indicate 'unable to verify' rather than marking it as incorrect. This helps you identify areas that may need manual review or additional sourcing.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees or long-term commitments.
